Kinderstrand is a Welfare organisation founded in 1938, and is situated at Glenmore on the lower South Coast of Natal between Margate and Port Edward. The complex comprising of a school, school hall. Sleeping quarters for 170 persons, separate staff rooms with bedding, and separate bathrooms as well.

Dining hall were meals are prepared and served. We supply the cutlery. Children to bring their own bedding (sleeping bag and cushion). School hall is available for activities. Sport field on premises with permanent volley ball nets.
Bring your own balls and sport equipment. No swimming pool.

Tariffs: R160 per day per person including 3 meals per day. (R155 pd pp if more than 80 people)
*Additional R5 pp pd for use of linen. Meal Times: Breakfast 08:00, Lunch 13:00, Supper 18:00

Kinderstrand is responsible for accommodation and three meals per day. Your responsibility is the day and evening programme. The beach is walking distance from our premises (200m) with life savers on duty during holidays.

Our Holiday Homes are on Kinderstrand's property and walking distance from Glenmore beach.

Sunshine House
House consists of 3 bedrooms - main bedroom with double bed with bathroom/shower, 2 rooms with 3 beds each. Separate shower/toilet/basin. Open plan kitchen and lounge. Outside patio, Outside barbeque facility.
House is fully equipped with linen and crockery for Self Catering.
Tariffs: School holiday weeks R1,000 per day, Long weekends out of season R850 per day

Daybreak House
House consists of 3 bedrooms - main bedroom with double bed with bathroom no shower,
two rooms with 2 single beds each plus bathroom with shower. Kitchen, outside barbeque facilities.
House is fully equipped with linen and crockery for Self Catering.
Tariffs: School holiday weeks R950 per day, Long weekends out of season R750 per day
