Beaches & Lagoons & Snorkelling

10 Km of Golden Beaches stretch between Shelly Beach and Ramsgate, an endless succession of secret lagoons, rocky outcrops washed by the warm, clear Indian Ocean. This magnificent stretch of coastline offers wonderful opportunities to discover and experience the great outdoors. Explore hidden coves and rock pools where colourful anemones, starfish, sponges, small fish, crayfish and the ubiquitous hermit crab may be found. The entire coast-line can be traversed on foot. Enjoy a glorious walk by taking the footpath that runs through the indigenous coastal bush, so typical of this sub tropical region.
